I am so excited to be teaching my 11th year in the Great Neck School District. Before Saddle Rock, I taught for four years at Baker Elementary School, as a teacher in the BRIDGE program, resource room, and in Co-Teaching. This is my 7th year teaching the Intensive Needs- K,1, 2 class and I am so excited for the new year to start. Each year I look forward to seeing the students who I previously had and new incoming students. As the months progress, I enjoy watching them grow individually and as a class.
Our Intensive Needs program is a very cohesive one, where the members of our team work seamlessly with each other. We collaborate and decide the best strategies for the students and communicate with the parents when needed. Our team includes: the psychologist, behavior consultant, speech/language therapist, occupational therapist, and physical therapist, along with the assistants in the classroom. If you ever have any questions, you can email one of the team members or contact me via email or the communication notebook.
We look forward to a fantastic 2015-2016 school year!
